What we are about
Postreel allows you to find, chat, and share content with people who are available to connect with you at that very moment. It is our priority that Postreel remains a safe platform for people to express themselves and their interests, discovering and connecting with others who may share them.
In order to provide a safe and fair Postreel user experience, there are some limitations on the type of content that can be published in Postreel. These limitations comply with legal requirements, protect our users from abuse and spam, and make Postreel a better experience for all. Our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Rules compose the "Postreel User Agreement", which regulates how Postreel members use its services.
We respect the ownership of the content that users share and each user is responsible for the content he or she provides. Because of these principles, we may not actively monitor and will not censor user content, except in limited circumstances described below.
Accounts engaging in any of the behaviors listed below may be investigated for abuse. Accounts under investigation may experience limited functions, or be removed from Search for quality. Failure to adhere with Postreel policies could result in one or more of the following enforcement actions:
- Removal of prohibited content
- Asking you to verify account ownership
- The temporary suspension of certain functions in your account, such as posting content or chatting with others
- Temporary suspension of your account
- Immediate and permanent suspension of your account without further notice, or any other accounts you create to bypass the suspension
Safety, Content Boundaries, and Use of Postreel
Selling usernames, you may not buy or sell Postreel usernames.
Violence and Threats are prohibited; you may not publish or post direct, specific threats of violence against others.
Unlawful Use: You may not use our service for any unlawful purposes or in furtherance of illegal activities. International users agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
Hate Speech and Cruel, Insensitive Content: You may not use or reiterate statements directly attacking or mocking people based on issues including race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, illness or disability.
Harassment, Bullying, and Abusive Behavior: You may not engage in targeted abuse, harassment, intimidation, or cyber-bullying of users. We will consider the context when evaluating abusive behavior to determine the appropriate enforcement actions.
Graphic Violence: Sharing graphic content that glorifies violence is not allowed. We may remove content depicting extreme graphic violence, which may include horrific crime, torture, mutilation, accident scenes, and death scenes; out of respect for the deceased and their families should they make a request.
Adult nudity and sexual activity: While we understand that users might want to share nude images to raise awareness about a cause or for educational, medical or creative reasons, Postreel restricts the display of nudity and sexual activity to respect our diverse community of cultures, ages, and beliefs. This includes content showing sexual intercourse, simulated sexual acts, genitals, or close-ups of fully-nude buttocks, or breasts.
Sexual Exploitation: You may not use content to attempt to exploit users, adults and children. This includes coercing favors, money, or illicit images, as well as coordinating or engaging in sexual services.
Regulated goods: We prohibit the sale of regulated goods, such as individual sales and trade of drugs, non-medical drugs, medical drugs, firearms, ammunition and more.
Private or intimate information: You may not publish or post other people's private and confidential information, such as credit card numbers, street address,Social Security/National Identity numbers, or intimate content, including photos and videos, without their express authorization and permission.
Impersonation is prohibited, you may not impersonate others through Postreel in a manner that does or is intended to mislead, confuse, or deceive others. This said, Postreel allows you to create parody, commentary, or fan accounts as long as you clearly mark it as so in your bio or account name.
Spam and Security
Spam: You may not use the Postreel service for the purpose of spamming anyone.
Serial Accounts: You may not create multiple accounts for disruptive or abusive purposes, or with overlapping use cases. Mass account creation may result in suspension of all related accounts. Please note that any violation of the Postreel Rules is a cause for permanent suspension of all accounts.
Username Squatting: You may not engage in username squatting. Accounts that are inactive for more than six months may also be removed without further notice. Some of the factors that we take into account when determining what conduct is considered to be username squatting are:
- The number of accounts created.
- Creating accounts for the purpose of preventing others from using those account names.
- Creating accounts for the purpose of selling those accounts using feeds of third-party content to update and maintain accounts under the names of those third parties.
Malware/Phishing: You may not publish or link to malicious content intended to damage or disrupt another user’s browser or computer or to compromise a user’s privacy.
Security: You may not access, tamper with, probe, test or use the vulnerability of our system and networks or security authentication measures.
Intellectual Property
Legal Claims and Trademark: We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames. Accounts using business names and/or logos to mislead others may be permanently suspended.
Copyright: We will respond to clear and complete notices of alleged copyright infringement. Our copyright procedures are set forth in the Terms of Service.
Safe Search and Sensitive Content
You may share content that contain some forms of graphic violence or adult content if you mark it as containing sensitive media and as long as it does not violate the rules above. Postreel prohibits the use of such content in profile or header images.
Sensitive content not appropriately flagged may be subject to removal and enforcement actions.

We may need to change these rules from time to time and reserve the right to do so. If we make a change to this policy, we will attempt to notify you via the email address associated with your account or the next time you attempt to access your account. By continuing to access or use the services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Policy.
